  10. If I want to write an application that uses a modem for just bit-pipe
  11. connectivity, ie., no protocols on top (Xmodem etc), what product should I
  12. use...?  What about TAPI, or a Greenleaf library?

  14. Once I have decided on the implementation apporoach what about the old
  15. problem of being able to use many different modems..... Is there a
  16. 'comprehensive' list of initialization strings for modem models out
  17. there??
